It also serves as the textbook for the USCGA™ TASASS™ certification course. It was written as a manual for students, entrepreneurs, finance professionals, advisors, and consultants. It defines the types of capital available and documentation requirements to achieve “success” in the capital marketplace. Success is defined as a trifecta of: 1) the enterprise acquiring capital; 2) the business becoming successful and 3) the capital source(s) receiving a positive outcome. Business Capital 101 provides clarity in an otherwise complicated environment of gaining access to capital for qualified enterprises. Our mission is to provide a compliant, professional, time-sensitive, cost-conscious, and realistic approach to the business finance process. We accomplish this mission by the implementation of a due diligence process known as the TASASS™ score. The TASASS™ score was developed as a result of a study of more than 300 enterprises engaged by me since 2008 wherein, I was able to determine the more than 300 common attributes amongst successful and failed ventures.
