The bodies appear to be of middle eastern men with no definitive causes of death. A call is placed to FBI Agent, Jefferey Scott, requesting his assistance in investigating the deaths of the four men. Investigation by Scott and his junior agent, Harry Sykes, lead them to multiple cities in several states following leads as well as their educated assumptions. The Center of Military History first published this work in 1956 as a textbook for senior ROTC courses. Since then it has gone through a number of updates and revisions, but the primary intent has remained the same.
