doomsday robot girl walkthrough: The Man at the End of the Hall Bruce Kelly, 2017-02-27 The trek through life is much more daunting for some than for others. The subject of this story finds his journey fraught with challenges others seem to navigate with little difficulty. Establishing and maintaining relationships are his most severe hurdles, especially that with a enigmatic father, the man at the end of the hall. The main character takes us along on his perilous search for meaning in life, confiding in us and asking us questions the answers to which he finds illusive. The novel is designed to reach remote regions of the readers' psyches in an attempt to unearth what's important and what's not important, both to the reader and the subject of our story. The book is not about materialism or power or what some see as success but rather a journey into the heart of lightness which is human goodness. There is not happy ending to this story but such is often the case in life. What it does try to leave the reader with is that people are good, that they can overcome sadness and loss through communication and that true happiness comes from intimacy and a sense of deep, profound self-fulfillment. As Socrates supposedly said once, an unexamined life wasn't worth living. Hopefully the reader will be changed for the better in the reading. |
